Dundee royal visit: William and Kate inside the V&A
ByMhairi Edwards / Kris Miller
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in Dundee today for the royal opening of the V&A.
The couple, known as the Earl and Countess of Strathearn when they are in Scotland, will also meet members of the Michelin Action Group, set up after the French company decided to end tyre manufacturing in the city.
The Duchess of Cambridge is the first royal patron of the V&A, continuing the museum’s long-standing relationship with the royal family from the time of its founding in 1852.
The museum is named after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, Prince William’s great-great-great-great grandparents.
