Police are investigating after a 12-year-old boy was indecently assaulted at a Dundee bus stop.
Officers are appealing for witnesses following the incident on Pitkerro Road, near Baxter Park, between 3.25pm and 3.40pm on Wednesday, February 13.
He was not injured during the incident, however he is said to have been left shaken.
A young man who was in the area at the time of the incident, believed to be in his teens, is being sought by police.
He is described as having black hair which was swept to the side at the front, dark skin and dark eyes. He was wearing a dark blue-buttoned jacket, or blazer and tie.
Police are also seeking a red-haired woman who was walking with three young children at the time. She is said to have walked past the bus stop.
Detective Constable Matt Millar said: “The young boy was not injured in any way however this has understandably been an upsetting incident for him and a thorough investigation to establish the full set of circumstances is ongoing.
“Incidents of this type are extremely rare and we have had no other similar reports at this time.
“We are appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time and who witnessed the incident or who saw any of the people described to contact us on 101 using reference number 1369 of February 14.”
