The facility at Lochee Park was designed to cater for children of all ages and abilities and to enhance and promote the park. The project was approved by Dundee City Council’s neighbourhood services committee at a meeting last November. The improved play park was opened on Wednesday. Youngsters seeking to access the play park can reach it via the park’s main entrance on Ancrum Road. The upgraded facility is one of several different facilities at the park, including a new community garden and sports pitches.
