Jewellery lovers, or people looking for an extra special gift for the jewellery lover in their life, will have the chance to get their hands on some real bargains, as a local jeweller announces his retirement.
Matthew M Henderson has been a family business for over 80 years and throughout that time has served the people of Broughty Ferry and further afield with high quality goods and service.
But now, the time has come for the shop to close its doors.
Owner Richard Henderson explained: “The jewellery market has changed a lot and I’m about to be 60, so we have decided that now’s the time to close our Broughty Ferry shop.
“We’ve never had a sale in the history of the shop so this truly is a one off.”
He added: “It will be closing in about three months’ time, so there’s plenty of opportunity for customers old and new to come in and get a fantastic deal or get their repairs done.”
Among the offers during the sale is 30% off all diamond rings, 25% off Mont Blanc pens and up to 50% discount on some items!
“We stock a wide range of items, including Citizen and Bering watches, pearls and gold jewellery – and it all must go!”
However, the business will keep its St Andrews shop open for a while yet, so customers can take the short trip over the Tay Road Bridge to get a dose of the Hendersons customer service and quality stock, or to get their jeweller repairs done.
“We would like to thank our Broughty Ferry customers for their loyalty over the years, and we feel the retirement sale is the way to do that.”
