A Dundee street has been partially closed due to an underground fire.
Albert Street is closed northbound between Lyon Street and Arthurstone Terrace.
Emergency services were first alerted to the incident at 7am.
Motorists are being advised to take alternative routes and police officers were on site directing traffic around the affected area this morning.
The incident caused queues of traffic on Albert Street.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “We are currently assisting Scottish Fire and Rescue dealing with an underground electrical fire in Albert Street.
“Albert Street is currently closed Northbound between Lyon Street and Arthurstone Terrace.
“Northbound traffic is being diverted into Lyon Street.
“The Arthurstone Terrace junction with Albert Street is closed and traffic being diverted up North Erskine Street.
“Motorists are asked to take alternate routes where possible.”
