Man found dead in Dundee City Centre car park

Police are investigating the death of a man found in Dundee City Centre today.

The male was found close to a car park at the bottom of Rattray Street at around midday.

The area is currently taped off with officers from CID on the scene.

A police cordon is also in place along a section of pavement on Bell Street which leads down to the car park.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We are in attendance in Rattray Street, Dundee, where the body of a male has been found in a car park.

“The death is currently being treated as unexplained and inquiries are at a very early stage.”
