The £80 million V&A museum has won a top award which celebrates the best community-led projects across Scotland.
Designed by Kengo Kuma, the Dundee museum took home the award in the tourism and leisure category at the RICS Awards 2019.
Opened in September 2018, the museum welcomed its half a millionth visitor in March, six months earlier than expected.
It was up against seven other entries, including Ballater Old Royal Station and the Macallan Distillery and Visitor Experience, in the leisure and tourism category of the competition.
The museum was shortlisted in the design through innovation section too but failed to clinch a second category award.
Cupar Burgh Chambers, in Cupar, was also shortlisted in the building conservation section but Mackintosh at the Willow, in Glasgow, took home the title.
The awards celebrate the top community-led built projects from across the country and the talent behind them.
All category winners will go on to compete against other regional winners at the grand final in London on October 4, for the chance to be crowned the overall UK winner in their respective category.
