Firefighters rushed to Strathmore Street to tackle the dwelling blaze just before 2pm. The man reportedly suffered from minor smoke inhalation but is unhurt. An ambulance, three fire crews and a police car are still on the street. A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said the stop message was received at 2.40pm. He added a hose reel jet, a positive pressure ventilation fan, and four breathing apparatus were used.
