Two teenagers fled the scene of a two-car crash in Dundee which left a woman with minor injuries.
The collision happened in Craigie on Arbroath Road at the junction with Old Craigie Road just before 10pm on Saturday night.
Police were unable to trace the occupants at the time and have now launched an investigation in a bid to trace the youngsters.
A female driver of a black Dacia Sandero, who is aged around 60, was treated by paramedics at the scene but is not believed to have suffered any serious injuries.
A spokesperson for the Tayside division of Police Scotland said: “Two male teenagers appear to have made off from the scene according to witnesses. Inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
“We are looking to trace the two involved.”
The other vehicle involved in the crash was a white Fiat 500.
The road was closed in both directions with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) also attending the incident.
A spokesperson for SFRS said the female was not trapped and was given first aid at the scene.
She added firefighters used small tools and a trauma pack to assist.
