Firefighters rushed to South Road to put out the blaze which started just before 2pm on Sunday. Crews used two breathing apparatus, a hose reel, and a thermal imaging camera to deal with the incident. They remain at the property carrying out cutting to the kitchen wall to ensure there is no further damage behind it. A spokesperson said the stop message came in at 2.30pm.
