Police and paramedics have been called to a Dundee city centre street after a woman was hit by a bus.
Emergency services were called to Dock Street, near the Wine Press, following the incident involving a no 73 Stagecoach vehicle at about 5.30pm.
A police spokesman said: “It was an RTC (road traffic collision) involving a female and a bus. She suffered a minor head injury.
“We got (told about) it from the ambulance at 5.30pm.”
The woman, believed to be in her late-40s, is said to have suffered a minor head injury.
One passerby said: “I was crossing when the woman stepped out and turned when everything stopped.
“The conductor the a double decker bus was in tears. He was maybe going 10mph.
“It wasn’t pretty but the police were there in about three minutes and ambulance before that.”
It comes just months after a man was struck by a bus on the same stretch of road.
Emergency services were called to Dock Street shortly before 2pm on Friday, December 31 2018 after a man and a woman were struck by a number 5 Xplore Dundee bus.
