A large fish that appeared in a pond outside a Hilltown community centre had been stolen, police in Dundee have confirmed. The large goldfish was found the Maxwell Centre on June 3. Police have now confirmed the fish, named Jack by centre staff, was stolen from a couple who live nearby whose pond had been vandalised. Two boys aged 14 and 12 have been reported to the Children’s Reporter in Dundee in connection with the issue. A Police Scotland spokesman said the owners have given away their remaining fish due to the damage their pond sustained. The Maxwell Centre has upgraded its pond to provide a permanent home for the fish found there.
