A four-figure sum has been stolen from a Broughty Ferry pub in the early hours of the morning.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident at the Eagle Coaching Inn, which happened sometime between 1.20am and 7.45am of the morning of June 25.
Other items as well as cash were stolen and there some damage caused to the Gray Street pub.
Officers are checking CCTV at neighbouring businesses and would like to trace a man seen on cameras on King Street at about 2.15am.
He is described as white, tall with a slim build. He was wearing a dark jacket with a logo and patches on the elbow, dark jeans and white Adidas trainers.
