A retired weaver will open an exhibition which focuses on the jute industry in Dundee.
Artist Pam Kelly is to display her Art of Work exhibition at Verdant Works, where it will be opened by Lily Thomson, 79.
The display has the theme of work and the relationship between workers and employers especially in the Jute industry.
Pam said: “Through my artwork I have been able to compare and contrast working practices at the height of the jute industry in Dundee with some more contemporary working practices, based on personal experience.”
This exhibition is free and runs from Saturday until Sunday October 6 between 10am and 6pm Monday to Saturday and 11am and 6pm on Sunday.
Entry is £11.50 for adults, £6.40 for children and £8.95 for concessions.
A free artist’s talk will be held on Saturday August 3. Places must be booked through Eventbite.
