Pictures and footage taken this morning hint at the extent of the damage caused by a fire at a Dundee takeaway.
The fire started in the Red Chilli Takeaway in Fintry just after 2am on Thursday morning.
Four crews rushed to the scene to bring the flames under control with the damage to the business thought to be substantial.
Video footage, above this article, shows piles of wood outside the building and a window smashed. Above the roof there are dislodged tiles.
The area is being sealed off by fire investigators, one of whom told The Courier that there are no signs of a break-in prior to the fire and any the damage to the window and roof was the firefighters getting into the property to tackle the blaze.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was brought under control but two crews are still in attendance ensuring the area is safe.
