The animals were spotted on the nearside lane of the northbound carriageway near The Horn Milk Bar around 9am on Monday. A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “There are two donkeys on the nearside carriageway.” It is thought the donkeys escaped from a nearby field. Vehicles were forced to slow down to pass the wandering donkeys.
