The man was hit on Arbroath Road outside the Boars Rock, but is understood to have no serious injuries. A police spokesperson said: “We were made aware of the incident at 5.20pm. The man is up and about, and managed to walk into the ambulance. “The road isn’t closed but because of the volume of traffic, there are delays. “We are still on the scene.”
