A middle section of Finlathen Bridge, which connects Fintry and Linlathen, has fallen into the path below overnight. Dundee City Council had closed it at the start of the month after a wall began to subside. It was shut and barriers were erected but some locals continued to use the shortcut to avoid a much longer route between the areas. Councillor for the East End Will Dawson said officers from City Development are in attendance to assess the bridge. He urged people to stay away from the collapsed section and refrain from using the bridge. Engineers are currently on site at Dundee's Finlathen Viaduct ensuring the bridge is safe following its collapse last night pic.twitter.com/V4uCF1pzgU — Jake Keith (@C_JKeith1) July 20, 2019 More to follow.
