Demolition work has started at the Park House Hotel.
The popular Dundee hotel, on Coupar Angus Road, closed down last year.
Plans for new houses were drawn up later in 2018, and the building is being torn down to make way for that development.
The demolition work began over the weekend. Video footage of the scene on Sunday afternoon is above this article.
An application for the new housing was submitted by Kylle McColl, of chartered architects ARKTX.
Fraser Middleton, director of ARKTX, said: “As the site sits on a major ambassador route into the city, the design is important and will encompass a contemporary flatted development sympathetically designed for the site.”
