A customer was injured after a gang raided a luxury Dundee jewellers on Monday morning.
Officers were called to Walkers Luxury Jewellers in Union Street just after 11am following the robbery.
Witnesses described how they heard a loud bang before the shop filled with smoke.
The 60-year-old customer received a head injury and was treated at Ninewells Hospital and later released.
One witness saw a white car speeding away from the jewellers shortly before 11am.
She then saw a group of men drive off in the white vehicle.
Emergency services then rushed to the scene.
Gary Moore, who works in Assai Records, opposite the jewellers, said: “About 10.30 or 11 o’clock a lot of smoke came out.
“Then a short time later the police all piled in.
“It’s all very mysterious.”
The shop’s window display features an array of expensive Rolex watches, one of which has a price tag of £29,000.
Glass at the rear of the display had been broken, with shattered glass covering the tables.

One witness said the inside “was all smokey” and they saw staff being taken away by police following the incident.
It is understood the store has a secure entry and customers must be buzzed in by staff.
A police spokeswoman said: “Police were called at 10.55am to a robbery at a jewellers shop on Union Street, Dundee.
“Officers are currently carrying out extensive enquiries to trace those involved and the vehicle they made off in.
“One man in the shop was injured and received treatment at the scene.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101. The reference number is 119 of September 23.”
