A carer gambled more than £5,000 on a debit card belonging to the woman she was supposed to be looking after.
Joan Mitchell, 54, of Foot Place, Rosyth, also stole jewellery from the victim.
At Dunfermline Sheriff Court she admitted that, between April 24 and May 5, she presented a debit card in the woman’s name to seven online gambling sites, pretended she was the owner of the card and obtained betting services of £5,180 by fraud.
Mitchell also admitted that between March 13 and May 13, at an address in Rosyth, she stole jewellery from the woman.
Sheriff Charles MacNair deferred sentence until November 13 for reports.
