A motorcyclist was taken to hospital following a crash which closed a busy Fife road on Tuesday morning. The accident involved a motorbike and a car happened shortly before 8.15am on the A911 road between Glenrothes and Leven. The motorcyclist, a man, was taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy with leg injuries following the collision. The road was closed as emergency services dealt with the collision. A police spokesman said: “Officers were alerted at 8.15am to a road traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a car. “The road remained closed for around an hour to allow for emergency services to attend to those involved. “The male motorcyclist was taken to Victoria Hospital with leg injuries which are not thought to be life threatening.” Police set up local diversions following A911 crash in Fife.
