A Rosyth man, who twice bit his former partner during months of domestic abuse, has been sentenced.
The woman was also threatened and had objects thrown at her by Christopher Hook.
Hook, 32, of Admiralty Road, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that between April 1 and June 25 this year at Urquhart Crescent, Dunfermline, he engaged in behaviour which was abusive of his partner, repeatedly acted aggressively towards her, made abusive phone calls to her, and made threats of violence and to damage property, called her derogatory names, threw objects at her and bit her.
Depute fiscal Laura McManus said on one occasion in April when the couple were in bed, the woman was bitten on the face.
She added: “She told him never to do that again but he did so on a second occasion.”
On other occasions he had called her a derogatory name, said she was “disgusting” and threatened to “smash up” her home if she contacted the police about him.
Hook then sent a an abusive voicemail to the woman and accused her of giving him a sexually transmitted disease.
Other incidents included Hook throwing a plant pot and a bottle at her window.
He also threw a bottle of beer at her television and another bottle at the woman.
Defence solicitor Chris Sneddon said: “She cheated on him and goaded him about this with her friend.”
Sheriff Charles MacNair imposed a community payback ordering Hook to do 150 hours of unpaid work, also imposing a two-year non-harassment order.
