A man has been arrested after police in riot gear swooped on a property in Lochgelly.
The 29-year-old man is expected to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
Police, including public order officers, descended on an address in Lumphinnans Road after reports of a disturbance.
Residents reported seeing multiple police vehicles near the scene.
An ambulance also attended.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “Police Scotland are in attendance at a property on Lumphinnans Road, Lochgelly, following reports of a disturbance at 9.10am this morning.
“The incident has been contained and there is no risk to the wider public.
“Residents are thanked for their patience and understanding.”
