A car collided with temporary traffic lights which had been set up on the A92 near Kilmany on Monday night. It happened at around 10.15pm. The stretch was not reopened until around 1.15am the next day. At the time, a contraflow was in place to allow roadworks to go ahead. The accident resulted in tailbacks and motorists taking lengthy diversions. Police Scotland said the car involved in the collision had left the carriageway but nobody was injured in the incident.
