Friends of a 30-year-old Fife man who died suddenly are raising money for his funeral.
Mark Watson, who was well known in the Levenmouth area and was often seen out with his beloved dog Diesel, was found dead at his home in Methil on Tuesday.
Shelli Stroud, 36, who knew Mr Watson all his life, has launched a GoFundMe page to make sure he gets the send off he deserves.
Less than 24 hours after the page was set up, with a target of £1,000, more than £1,800 had been raised.
She said: “He loved his dog Diesel and was well known in the community. He was always walking with his dog.
“It’s going to be a massive funeral and we want to give him a good send off.
“When we grew up we were with each other all the time.
“He was just such a well known guy. He was well known and well liked.
“He loved his dog Diesel. The dog’s been really withdrawn and has just been moping about.”
She added: “He did card tricks and was amazing at it. He loved magic.”
The circumstances surrounding Mr Watson’s death are not known at this stage.
