Police in Fife have launched an investigation after a car was set alight outside a family’s home.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said the incident, which happened at around 9.30pm yesterday evening in Ballingry Road, Ballingry, is being treated as a deliberate act.
A spokeswoman for Scottish Fire & Rescue Service, said: “We were alerted by police at 9.32pm on Saturday evening to a motor vehicle on fire in Ballingry.
“One appliance was dispatched from Lochgelly station and on arrival found the car to be well alight.”
The Police Scotland spokesman said: “Inquiries are ongoing into a vehicle fire outside a property on Ballingry Road in Ballingry, Fife.
“The incident was reported around 9.30pm on Saturday, 30 November, 2019.
“The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended and extinguished the fire and we can confirm that nobody was injured in the incident.”
