A Cowdenbeath teenager, who bit two police officers after she was arrested, has been given a community payback order with 12 months’ supervision.
Amber Clark, 19, of School Street, previously admitted that on May 8 at School Street she assaulted a police officer by attempting to headbutt him, bit him on the arm and kicked him.
She also admitted assaulting another constable by biting him on the arm.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said police attended at Clark’s home at 1.40pm to execute an outstanding arrest warrant on her.
“She was then arrested and was not happy about this. She was screaming and bit one of the officers on the arm.”
