A Porsche collided on the M90 on Christmas Day, causing travel misery for those using the motorway.
The silver vehicle struck the central reservation south of junction five between Kelty and Kinross just after 10am.
Neither the driver nor passenger were hurt but the incident resulted in the closure of the southbound carriageway for around an hour.
People travelling to spend Christmas Day with friends and family were delayed by the smash and motorists were advised to use an alternative route until the car was removed.
From around 11am traffic was able to pass slowly on the hard shoulder.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “It was a one-car accident and no one was hurt. The car hit the central reservation.
“There was a full closure of junction five southbound to recover the vehicle.”
Police were called to the scene at 10.05am and drafted in the Scottish Fire and Resce Service to assist.
