The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) were called to the fire at Viewbank in Leslie at around 4.50pm on New Year’s Day. Two appliances from Glenrothes attended the scene, extinguished the blaze and checked to see if the fire had spread to the attic space. Crews are still at the scene dampening down. There was no injuries reported and no-one is believed to be involved. A SFRS spokesperson said: “The call came in at 4.50pm for a fire in a bedroom of a property. “Two crews from Glenrothes are still in attendance.”
