Two people have been taken to hospital and Fife road closed after a gritter lorry overturned this morning.
The incident happened shortly before 6am on the A916 road just south of Cupar.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Officers received a call at 6am this morning reporting a road traffic incident involving a road gritter lorry which had overturned in Fife.
“Officers and other emergency services attended the scene and two people were taken by ambulance to hospital.
“Their injuries are thought to be minor and not life threatening.
“The A916 road has been closed between the junction with A914 and Scott Tarvit Road to allow for recovery of the vehicle.
“Local diversions are in place and motorists are advised to find alternative routes art this time.”
