The incident happened around 3.40pm on Thursday, December 26, near to the old railway bridge on Gallows Loan, known locally as The Grange. It was reported a 55-year-old man was racially abused whilst walking his dog before being physically assaulted. A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal and the man is expected to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court in due course.
