A teenage boy was taken to hospital after a hit and run in Fife.
The 14-year-old suffered a serious foot injury after he was hit by what is believed to have been a dark-coloured saloon in Methil on Sunday.
Police said the car was similar in size to a Vauxhall Astra or Ford Focus and have appealed for witnesses.
Officers have also urged the driver to come forward.
The incident happened on Kirkland Walk, near the crescent-shaped parking area, at around 8.15pm.
The boy was taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.
Inspector Paul Gillespie of Levenmouth Police Station said: “We’re appealing to anyone who has any information about this incident to contact us and equally, we’re appealing to the driver to contact us.”
