A Dunfermline man has been jailed after claiming to have a sex video of his former partner which he threatened to post online.
At Dunfermline Sheriff Court, Craig Kelso, 42, of Elliot Street, admitted that between June 1 2018 and March 7 last year he engaged in a course of conduct which caused his ex-partner fear or alarm by repeatedly sending her messages which were threatening, offensive and derogatory.
He also repeatedly made threatening remarks and threatened to distribute video of her engaged in sexual activity on social media.
Sheriff Alastair Brown told Kelso his actions had been “contemptible” and had caused “horrendous distress” before jailing him for 13 months.
