Car strikes tree after leaving A915 Standing Stane Road.
A driver has had a narrow escape after the car they were travelling in struck a tree after leaving a busy Fife road.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said:” Officers received a call at 2.30pm this afternoon (Monday) reporting a road traffic crash involving a single vehicle on the A915 Standing Stane Road between Kirkcaldy and Leven.
“Officers attending the scene found a vehicle that had left the road and crashed into woodland.
“No one was injured in the incident.”
The incident is the latest in a string of accidents on the A915 in recent months.
