Motorists faced rush hour disruption this morning after a multi-car pile-up on a busy Fife road. Three cars and a van collided on the A985 Kincardine Bridge Road close to Devilla Forest shortly after 6am. Police and emergency services attended the scene which forced the closure of the road for a time. A spokeswoman for police Scotland said: “We received a call at 6.38am reporting a road traffic collision involving four vehicles on the A985. “No one was injured in the incident. “The road was closed to allow for vehicle removal and clear up and the road was reopened at 8.50am.”
