A Dunfermline man has appeared at the town’s sheriff court after he abused members of the public when he had been drinking following a funeral.
Kyle Paterson, 28, of Golfdrum Street, admitted he shouted at the occupants of a car then approached another vehicle and shouted and gestured in an abusive manner at the occupants on January 18 at Chalmers Street, Dunfermline.
Defence solicitor Roshni Joshi said her client had been at his cousin’s funeral on the day of the offence and had been consuming alcohol.
She added: “He apologises for the upset caused.”
Sheriff James MacDonald fined Paterson £150.
