The event, a fixture on the agricultural calendar since 1821, had been due to be held on the second last Saturday in May just outside Cupar. Elaine Miller, from the Fife Show committee, said all focus will now be on 2021’s show, the 200th anniversary gathering, on May 22 2021. Meanwhile, the famous Fife Point-to-Point race meeting at Balcormo Races, scheduled for April 25, has also been postponed. The event normally attracts a huge crowd for an afternoon of racing and entertainment.
