A beloved Fife dinosaur almost wiped out in a car accident more than a year ago is being protected from coronavirus.
Rexie, a 10ft tyrannosaurus rex sculpture in Glenrothes, can now be seen sporting a face mask.
The prominent fibre glass model in the Caskieberran area is a popular local landmark and people were delighted to see someone with a sense of humour had taken precautions to ensure he did not follow other members of his species into extinction.
Rexie disappeared for three months after he was hit by a car in December 2018.
His removal from its initial home in Waverley Drive caused an uproar in 2011, when a campaign to keep it in its place ultimately proved futile.
