Levenmouth businesses have agreed to distribute sanitary products to teenage girls to help alleviate period poverty.
A number of business-people are joining forces to help Levenmouth Academy pupils after schools close at the end of this week.
Sanitary pads and tampons are currently available in the school.
Teachers are encouraging pupils to pick up enough supplies from reception on Thursday and Friday to last them over the next few weeks.
During the closure they will be available at Craig Boyd Hairdressing, Specsavers in Leven, Pixie Cuts and The Barbers in Kennoway, Perfect Scoop and JoJos in East Wemyss, , The Perfect Scoop, Windygates and Kennoway, Tammy’s at Studio 19 in Windygates and Clear Buckhaven.
