Citizens Advice and Rights Fife (CARF) has taken the decision to stop face-to-face services with effect from 5pm on Thursday March 19.
Clients have been asked not to visit any of the organisation’s frontline offices, and all outreach service appointments have been cancelled for the time being.
While face-to-face services have shut, CARF has enhanced its telephone advice provision and has asked clients to visit www.CABFife.org.uk where possible.
“We have made this decision to protect the health of our staff and volunteers and also to protect the health of our clients,” explained Norma Philpott, chief executive.
“We would like to thank our clients in advance for their patience whilst we have moved to this type of service.
“It is important to recognise that we are not stopping services, we are simply changing the way in which they are delivered.
CARF can be contacted on 0345 1400 095 for general enquiries or 0345 1400 094 for debt advice.
