Fire crews from across Fife were scrambled overnight after fire broke out at a large building in Kirkcaldy.
The alarm was raised shortly after 1am this morning (Sunday) after flames could be seen coming from a derelict building on Victoria Road in Kirkcaldy.
A spokesman for Scottish Fire & Rescue Service, said: “We received an alert at 1.07am on Sunday, March 22 to a fire at a premises in Victoria Road in Kirkcaldy.
“In all seven fire appliances as well as a high reach vehicle, were despatched from stations in Kirkcaldy, Lochgelly, Methil, Glenrothes and Burntisland to tackle the blaze.
“Crews remained at the scene for several hours as they worked to make the building safe and have now stood down.
