Play parks, skate parks and multi-use games areas across Fife should be off limits to members of the public during the current crisis, Fife Council has advised.
A spokesperson said: “To help reduce the spread of COVID-19, we are asking that outdoor play facilities such as play parks, skate parks and multi-use games areas are not used.
“Closing these types of facilities means there is more chance that the advice to stop all public gatherings of more than two people is followed and that groups of young people do not arrange to meet up outdoors.
“At this time, we encourage you to still enjoy Fife’s outdoors as a form of exercise, either on your own or with those you live with, for a run, walk or cycle.”
