Penguins day out! Look who’s gone for a little wander around the aqaurium today- one of our Humboldt penguins Andi! She wanted to get around and see the sites and visit a few of her neighbours!
Andi has been waddling around St Andrews Aquarium after staff decided to take advantage of the attraction’s closure and let her out of her enclosure.
The Humboldt penguin enjoyed peering into the aquarium’s many fish tanks in the usually crowded building.
She also got to meet her neighbours, the meerkats.
Andi arrived in Fife in 2013 after Sir Andy Murray’s historic Wimbledon win and soon laid her first eggs.
It wasn’t long before some furry chicks were game, set and hatched!
Three other Humboldt penguin arrivals were named after other members of the Murray family, including Andy’s fiancée Kim, grandmother Shirley and mum Judy.
Since then, Judy has been to the aquarium to meet her “doppelganger”, Judy the penguin.
