Services are still in place for victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence, says the Fife Violence Against Women Partnership.
Co-ordinator Sheila Noble provided a list of useful contacts and said it was important to note that home is not the safest place to be for some people.
“There are a number of factors that can increase the risk of domestic abuse and sexual violence – enforced contact between partners, women feeling trapped and unable to leave, increased drinking at home, complications over child contact arrangements and reduced access to normal support routes,” she said.
“These are challenging times but services are still up and running and support is available and I would urge anyone who is struggling to get in touch.”
