Thornton Highland Gathering will not take place this summer.
The 167th celebration of the ancient annual event was scheduled to take place in the town’s Memorial Park on Saturday July 4.
However, it has joined the Fife list of Scottish Highland Games Association (SHGA) member games including Markinch, Cupar, Ceres and Burntisland which have already cancelled.
This only leaves St Andrews and Inverkeithing to make a decision.
The cancellations mean the Fife Highland Games Association will not be running their annual leagues for running, cycling and heavy events this summer.
Country-wide, a total of 33 of the 59 SHGA member games have now cancelled.
