Seven people jumping from a pier in St Andrews were warned off by police.
The group was spotted at St Andrews Harbour apparently flouting government guidance to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Police said on Saturday evening that they spoke to the gang, who were taking advantage of fine weather over the Easter weekend, about their behaviour.
North East Fife Police tweeted: “Seven folk jumping off St Andrews Harbour pier is not acceptable because it’s sunny!”
They said the people changed their minds after officers intercepted.

Meanwhile, they said people were largely heeding the plea to stay at home in the East Neuk of Fife.
Following reports of visitors at beaches and others beauty spots last weekend, there were concerns good weather would see more people tempted to head out over the holiday weekend.
However North East Fife Police said that officers on patrol in the East Neuk found that people were, in the main, abiding by the guidelines.
Out on patrol in East Neuk. Despite the weather people in the main are abiding by the very important COVID guidelines. Thank you very much from all @NorthFifePol for your help and support!!! pic.twitter.com/hLzOE5S5Bk
