Firefighters spent more than 21 hours tackling a huge blaze at a west Fife farm.
The fire broke out in a barn containing several hundred straw bales early on Sunday evening.
It was 3.30pm on Monday before crews were stood down, having ensured the blaze was completely extinguished.
Some six appliances were sent to Blairsgreen Farm, by Saline after the alarm was raised around 6pm on Sunday.
On Monday morning the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said 40 bales remained alight and it was still working to bring the fire under control.
Three appliances remained at the farm.
No one is believed to have been hurt in the incident, and animals are understood to have been moved to safety.
On Monday morning a fire service spokeswoman said: “There are 40 bales still alight. It’s not under control yet and we have been there since 6pm last night.
“We had six appliances out. At the moment we have three appliances there.”
However, it was later confirmed that the fire was out and crews had been stood down at 3.30pm.
The road between Saline and Oakley was closed by police on Sunday evening, who warned drivers to avoid the area.
It remained closed until firefighters departed.
