Fife College has donated PPE to local health and social care providers.
Thousands of items of protective gear including face masks, gloves, aprons and hand sanitisers were gathered from across its campuses and delivered to NHS Fife and Fife Council.
Hugh Hall, college principal, said: “With our campuses currently closed and students continuing to learn remotely, we knew the PPE that we have could be put to good use by local health and social care organisations.
“The donation is just one small way that we can help during what is an extremely challenging time for the NHS, local authorities and other health and social care providers.
“We hope the equipment goes some way to helping protect valued front-line workers as they continue their tireless work to keep us safe and protect the most vulnerable in our communities. They have our deepest respect.”
