Pedestrians have had a lucky escape after vehicle mounted the pavement before crashing into a lamppost Fife town early this morning.
The accident happened at around 6am this morning in Burntisland’s main shopping area.
The white van left the road and crashed on the pavement close to the roundabout at the junction with High Street and Kirkgate.
A spokesman for Police Scotland, said: “We received report of a one-car road crash on High Street, Burntisland, in which a car struck a lamppost around 6am on Wednesday, April 22.
“Officers attended and no-one was injured.”
